In I, Cactus AND, artists A. Mina and H. Michael present their new body of work in response to what they consider to be systemic bias against the feminine within societal structures. Comprising sculpture, print and sound, the work will function as a performance installation, relying on the activation of the imaginative space within each viewer to generate meaning.
Created under the banner of www.amillionlovesongs.com a performance platform founded by the artists in 2014.

From the Book to the Book

The fading presence of books in everyday life represents a profound break with the past. Yet when a medium becomes liberated from workaday function new freedoms always emerge. Thus, the book is open to rediscovery and re-performance as container, guardian and symbol.

A group show featuring Elena Gileva, Caroline Jane Harris, Anastasia Mina, curated by Chloe Stavrou –“Piecemeals” opens on 20 June, 6 – 9 pm. The exhibition runs between June 21 – 23 from12 pm until 6 pm daily. A piecemeal tour shall take place on 23 June, 4 – 6 pm.
